THE SHOW MUST GO ON

While the Pandemic has been a devastating time for nearly every industry around the globe, the world of live theatre – particularly musical theatre – has teetered on the brink of total collapse. But a war has been ragging in South Korea, on the West End, and on Broadway to keep theatre alive. THE SHOW MUST GO ON is the story of two Andrew Lloyd Webber theatrical productions in Seoul, Korea – CATS and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, that let the way back. The film chronicles the resuscitation of an art form with the fate of a multi-billion-dollar industry at stake. Even more importantly, this film tells a human story – one of the resilience of storytellers and their determination to come together even in the toughest of times.
